Gatlinburg Wedding Chapels - The Wedding Chapel in the Glades

I just wanted to thank everyone at the Chapel in the Glades for making our special day perfect. From the moment that I first spoke with Denise , I was treated as an individual with the utmost respect. Anytime I would email with a question, Denise answered me promptly and addressed all of my concerns. The chapel itself is gorgeous. It is so different from the other more commercialized chapels in the area. Very, very beautiful. Denise, my flowers were also gorgeous ( thanks for having them made precisely as I requested) . We had a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone that wants a mountain wedding that goes with out a hitch. Sincerely, Erin 2007

I know it has been way tooooo long. I am sorry...life has a way of taking over.... I am finally sending you this letter to say thank you so very much for all you did, all everyone did to have our wedding go off with out a hitch. I am so very glad that we had our wedding there at your chapel. It's true what they say, "that no amount of planning can prepare you". It has to be a overall cooperation from everyone to make something as special, and as BIG as a Wedding go out smooth. I do now understand how and why so many Brides get "BRIDEZILLA". I can say that by having our Wedding there at your Chapel, all the MAJOR stuff was handled, ( I know that I called you a lot) : ) but after the first few conversations I had faith, that you had it handled, Towards the end I found myself calling you regarding( family issues), and you were kind and sweet enough to listen when you could, and still gave words of encouragement. For that I am Grateful. Kenneth and his family are already asking if we can have anniversary vows there, I think part of it is they want and mini vaction too. But everyone said the Chapel was perfect...again thank you for everything Denise you are truly sweet, and a friend... I remember being so nervous until I actually met everyone in person just minutes before walking down the aisle. Everyone was so generous and professional and immediately made me feel at ease. To Whom It May Concern: In September, my husband and I were married at the wedding chapel in the Glades. We both knew that we wanted a small, but intimate wedding ceremony where we would have only family. So we decided to go away somewhere that we both loved which was Gatlinburg. I then began looking for our perfect chapel. We chose the Wedding Chapel in the Glades because it was beautiful. I called and spoke with Denise and together she helped us pick a wedding package. I felt like I had known her forever. We talked on the phone a few times to finalize some details. Then finally the big day arrived! I went to the chapel with the Matron of Honor and began to get ready. I was so nervous, but Denise was so helpful and calming that it helped to relax me. She walked me outside to the front of the chapel and told me everything was perfect. What a wonderful, special friend she was to me. I remember walking down the aisle and thinking how beautiful the chapel was. I tried to savor every moment of this most magnificent day. When the ceremony was over the photographer made it fun and I felt like a princess. Her pictures were fabulous. We have had so many compliments. I just wanted to send a letter of appreciation for the wonderful wedding experience I had recently with the Chapel in the Glades. Denise was so extremely helpful with helping me plan everything. I really didn't have to do anything. Being from out of state, I was worried about how things would turn out or what exactly I needed to do before I came. Denise handled everything for me and answered all of my questions and really helped ease my mind. The chapel was beautiful and everything turned out wonderfully. Kimberly	Hi Denise, You made everything so easy in reserving our wedding. We didn't have to worry about a thing because you took care of everything for us. You supplied us with the maps we needed in order to obtain our license, and to make it to the resort and chapel. I tell most everyone who will listen that I would marry my husband all over again, and I would use your services again as well! The chapel is quaint and cozy in a beautiful mountain atmosphere. Everything was quite romantic and I was pleased when I found you to be as charming in person as you were in your emails to me discussing the wedding plans. Heather
Hi Denise, I just realized that I have not sent the email that you requested asking me to tell about our wedding experience. So here goes............... From the beginning what an experience!!! It was everything that I thought it could be and then some. The staff was there for me from booking the wedding day to walking down the aisle. I have been asked by several people that if I could do my wedding over again would I get married at the Chapel in the Glades....I said most certainly!! Our wedding was simple with it just being myself and my husband to be. I believe that helped in the "no stress" factor. The Chapel comes with everything booked for you. You couldn't ask for a better Minister, Wedding Coordinator, and Photographer. Denise confirmed all the arrangements by phone for the wedding and then she was there the day of the wedding to open the door for me to walk down the aisle. The most cherished part was the pictures and video tape. My husband and I will always hold them dear to our hearts. I work in a salon and have shared my pictures with all of my clients. They all have raved as to the appearance of the chapel, the smile on the Ministers face, and the quality of the pictures along with the different posses that were not just wedding posses. The pictures have been shared with everyone that I have come in contact with and everyone loves them. Again all I can say is "WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!" It will be a day that I will always remember. From the ceremony with my husband to the wonderful experience that I had with the staff! Denise, You were definitely a pleasure to work with along with the Minister and hotographer.
